A portrait of Mark Twigg

Mark Twigg Managing Director

I started out in the motor trade when I left school in 1976 working for Kennings Ltd serving my time in the body shop and moved on to vehicle technician, where I must say was one of the best times of my life. When I was 19 I bought a Triumph stag I rebuilt it from top to bottom, lots of joy and dedication was given to this car (worth every penny and made me smile where ever I went)
Things went bad for British Leyland in 1982 and redundancy was on the cards so I volunteered and went out with a few quid in my pocket confident I would be ok. 6 months later they closed the doors anyway.
1982 / 1983 I worked for T C Harrisons I did not like the job there so I moved on quickly.
1983 I started working for myself buying/ repairing/and selling on cars
1985 I started a property business buying my 1st house and building my portfolio and renting them out while still doing my cars.
1996 I started M T Cars from my home; I bought my 1st car lot and 2nd one in 2002 going from strength to strength.
in 2012 I was struck with the big C (don't want to go there again) after recovering early 2014 I wanted a challenge and along came Subaru it was just what I needed to get my mojo back and get the business moving ahead again.
We are now also a Great Wall dealer we went live from the 1st December 2014 so if we can help in any way please feel free to contact me.

Steve Needs General Manager

Prior to joining the motor industry I was a jeweller for nearly 12 years repairing both Jewellery and watches, whilst also making Jewellery, bit of a change I know stepping into the motor industry but, I have always been good with people and fancied a change. I now have many years motor trade experience, and several years as a sales manager.
Customer care and satisfaction is a passion of mine and I take great pride in what I do and how I do it.
I have worked in some great franchises namely Toyota and Mercedes-Benz and it is here where I learnt my trade and how to be the kind of person/Manager that people both want to buy from and work with.
I joined Mark's business in 2014 with a wealth of knowledge with regards to franchise behaviour and standards and between us have developed a growing and successful Subaru and Great Wall franchise
One of my greatest ambitions was to own and restore a classic car, which, I have now done. I restored a 1970 Rover P5B, which i kept for after completing for about a year, the reason i moved it on was because i stumbled across the dream classic, A STAG. This vehicle has been a dream of mine since i was a young boy. So, I now own a Triumph Stag Auto 1971.

Jordan Noble Sales Manager

I started in the motor trade back in 2010 after a diverse history before that in various sales roles. I have always thrived in customer service and live by my morals and word. I came to MT Cars because I knew of their outstanding reputation having been local to Whittlesey for some years and even purchased a vehicle from Mark myself. After MT Cars going from strength to strength with there 2 franchises and wanting the expertise of an experience franchised sales manager, I embraced the opportunity to get on board and be a part of this growing business and take it to the next level. I am a big family man and live only 2 miles from work with my fiance and little boy. We as a family attend a local Kickboxing club called the Peterborough BCKA who MT Cars are also proud sponsors of.

Brad Forrest Sales Executive

In August 2016 I began a new chapter of my career joining the sales team at MTC. Prior to the motor trade I was working in my dad’s Post Office for 3 years, both customer service based however a drastic change nevertheless.
I began studying an HND in Business Studies at Stamford College, after completing the first year I was certain that studying wasn’t for me and the notion of going away to University for a year just didn’t appeal to me.
I have always enjoyed working and been passionate about helping and interacting with people; in particular customers. So in reality combined with my love for cars, when the opportunity arose to work in a thriving dealership, it was a no brainer.
As a result of being the youngest member of the sales team, this gives me the opportunity to take advantage of the vast experience around me. Every day I am learning and improving which is exactly what drives me to be the best I can be.

Dave Clark Service Manager

I started with MTC Subaru in June 2014, I came from Unity in Peterborough where I worked for 3 years in their Subaru dealership in both the service and parts department.
I have overall 12 years in the motor trade, the other 9 years where spent in the motorbike section of the business which is a huge passion of mine, closely followed by Subaru.
I really enjoy working with Subaru, and another passion of mine is customer service/satisfaction, I will always go the extra mile in order to create a customer for life.
