Subaru Motability near Peterborough & Cambridge

Motability Scheme for Subaru Vehicles

Over the past 35 years, Motability has helped over three million people get mobile by exchanging their Subaru mobility allowance to lease a car to aid their mobility.

What cars are available on the Motability scheme? We offer a selection of Subaru models, each designed to provide comfort and reliability for Motability customers. However, we also stock a comprehensive range of new Subaru cars for sale for those who do not require Motability adaptations.

The Motability Scheme is designed to give people on a mobility allowance the chance to lease a reliable car at a discounted rate. It makes getting around easier and more affordable.

Eligibility

If you are disabled, you may be able to exchange your mobility allowance to get a vehicle that suits your needs. What’s more, you don’t even need to drive. Family, friends or carers can drive on your behalf. You can check your eligibility by clicking HERE.

The Motability Scheme is designed to help people that receive either Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Disability Living Allowance (DLA), War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) lease a Subaru Motability vehicle.

Window heights and carefully arranged pillars also provide excellent visibility in all directions.

How do you pay for a Motability car?

The process is designed to be as effortless as possible. Instead of worrying about each payment, the scheme allows you to use the Motability allowance and have your allowance provider pay directly for the scheme. Depending on the model you choose, you might need to make an advanced payment.

Are Motability cars exempt from ULEZ?

Disabled people are exempt from the ULEZ charge until 24 October 2027 as long as their car is registered with the DVLA as having 'disabled' or 'disabled' passenger. You can find out more about the ULEZ support for disabled people here.
